1. Summary

This Plugin does not collect or store personal data from your website’s visitors. Testimonial content (text, names, avatars, ratings) is entered by the site administrator via the WPBakery editor and stored in your own WordPress database, like normal page content. The Plugin does not use cookies, local storage, or any tracking/analytics scripts.

2. Data Sent on Plugin Deactivation

When a logged-in administrator submits the optional feedback dialog shown on plugin deactivation, the following is sent to our server at api.joywp.com:

– Plugin, WordPress, PHP, theme, and WPBakery Page Builder version numbers
– The selected deactivation reason and any free-text comment entered

This request only fires on explicit admin action (requires “activate_plugins” capability and a valid nonce) — nothing is sent automatically or from front-end visitor traffic. The data is used solely to improve the Plugin and is not used for advertising.

4. Data Retention

Deactivation feedback, if submitted, is retained by joyWP for product-improvement purposes. Testimonial content in your WordPress database is retained until you delete it.
